  Look, one thing people seem to forget is Our savior, Jesus Christ, did not come for the perfect, the "got it together", the saved... He came for US! We are all the broken, ashamed, addicted, hopeless, scattered, lonely, hidden, faint, fallen, and refused.
  He brought us a pure reality of a loving, forgiving, kind, gentle, self-controlled, peaceful, patient, joyful, and faithful relationship! This church BELIEVES and LIVES in this reality!!!
  For the 3 years I have been in the 'burgh, I have been riddled with the fierce need for a family, for an anointed pastor, a sisterhood to fellowship with, a place to embrace both mine and my son's spiritual needs, and an abundant availability to pour out my God-given gifts by loving the lost and strengthening the saved with His testimony in my own life.
  At the time I came to HRCC, I was jobless due to a car accident that forced me to leave my surgical veterinary career of 20 years. I am a single mom, at home, with a young child. I had a dear friend of mine offer to take us to a toy drive in the Verona park during Christmas. We both had kids and were struggling.
  I met Pastor Hoff (PH) briefly but had an awesome conversation with some of the leadership team members as he was engaged with the mass of children. The love... INCREDIBLE. The abundance if smiles, priceless.
  I began attending regularly in the winter, 2015. I now have a church family. A well of hope, rising in my heart, and a focused pastor to encourage me to dig for more of the truth in God's word to carry me through each week. A sisterhood I engage with daily by texts, lunch, morning prayer, or a book read. HRCC is a place to guide my gifts to a bigger platform to reach surrendering hearts for Jesus harmonized by like-minded brothers and sisters in Christ!
  My son, 4, has life-long kids to grow with in the Generations youth group. He is asking real questions with honorable intentions towards "doing what Jesus would do".
  We pray, preach, & prepare life together here! We are a family woven by truth!

  I am honored to know Pastor Harry and his wife for 5 years now and can tell you THIS MAN IS ANOINTED! He is the real deal. The love he has for his family and community is genuine. I have watched this family sacrifice everything for the people of his church and those of his community. Pastor Harry my prayer is you continue to change the world one soul at a time. And if i know you, you will no matter what the cost. You have impacted my life more than i can tell you. Thank you for all you do! It does NOT go unnoticed! I LOVE YOU!!

  I started coming to Hope Rising about 5 months ago. My life has changed!!! The way Pastor Harry delivers the message of God , the family I have gained, the love that is in this church , and the amazing youth ministry. Thank you for helping me grow my faith!

  All are welcome! I LOVE this church! The welcoming feeling that surrounds the whole experience from the door to the service itself is something I have needed to find in a church! Pastor Harry delivers a spirit filled message that fits anyone at any point in their life. The life groups are another thing that's so attractive about Hope Rising. If you're looking for a church that's life giving and that loves God and loves people, this is it! Welcome Home!!
